The Model V15-17 is created for vertical gels 17 cm x 15 cm (W x L) for the separation of up to 20 samples on a 0.8 mm, 1.5 mm, or 3 mm thick gel. There are built-in integral clamps make for simple assembly and keeps gels of different thicknesses leak-free in place. The V15-17 is the choice system for laborites with few sample throughput, but there is a need for long running distances or large sample volumes (up to 4,000 mL). The gel casting clamp is available separately. The silicone clamp is crated to cast a single 17 cm x 15 cm gel and allows for leak-poof casting.
