The TRobot Thermocycler was created to be integrated into Robotic systems. Because of its minimum footprint, it fits robotic platforms even when space is limited. The TRobot comes with a motorized plate lifter to allow plates to be removed by the robotic arm. One of the major changes in atomization is that now the plates will be removed after thermocycling. With conventional thermocycle systems, the plates often at times stick to the thermoblock after cycling. Because they cannot be removed by the robotic arm, the whole system stops working. The TRobot has overcome this problems with the motorized plate lifter. As the lid opens, the lifter brings the plate up from the block. After it is lifted, the plate is simply removed by the robotic arm.
