Variable Optical Bandwidth The top of the range CE 9500, offers four optical resolutions, 0.5, 1, 2 and 4nm. For samples with narrow absorption bands such as vapours and gases, the narrow 0.5nm bandwidth is extremely valuable. When high energy is helpful, for instance in measuring difficult turbid samples or fluorescence measurements, the 4nm bandwidth provides increased sensitivity and accuracy of measurement.
