In 1979, SERF developed the Sagitta EVL self-locking femoral stem for implantation with and without cement. Today, the Sagitta EVL hip system offers new design features and is available in four versions : CEMENTED, CEMENTLESS, STANDARD, HIGH OFFSET. • The neck of this new femoral stem has a thinner geometry and a highly polished surface for opt mal association with the acetabular cup. • The instrument system permits any surgical approach, whatever the Sagitta EVL femoral stem version selected.
