Elaborated in close cooperation with a team of 4 surgeons and our engineering department , the Quartz® acetabular system was first designed to ensure a significant primary stability, additional fixation screws being optional and rarely used. This system is available in two bearing surfaces : polyethylene/metal or alumina/alumina and articulates with Ø 28 and 36 mm heads. The comprehensive range of products complies with the performance requirements regarding the quality of its cementless anchorage. Optimal press-fit is achieved and the shell outer surface is hydroxyapatite coated. Large diameter prosthetic heads ensure a satisfactory range of motion. This system is supplied with a modern and highly efficient instrumentation.
