Real time PCR or qPCR is a process by which microbiological data can be collected as a reaction proceeds. The qTOWER 2.0 allows quantitative PCR in a standard 96-well format. The qTOWER 2.0 provides the best possible performance due to the gold-coated silver thermal block which allows maximum possible thermal conductivity. The result is unsurpassed homogeneous and uniform temperature control. This, combined with heating rate of up to 5.5 degrees Celsius per second and a cooling rate of up to 4.0 degrees Celsius per second makes the qTOWER 2.0 the top choice for standard, real time PCR. Not only does the possibility of programming linear gradients exist, but a 40 degree maximum gradient temperature range across 12 columns optimizes the way in which new primer pairs are established. The unit features a patented optical system consisting of 8 optical filters and 3 LEDs.
