The SpeedCycler² allows for rapidPCR in less than 8 minutes and has SAC (Self-Adapting Container) technology that delivers outstanding heat transfer. It heats and cools at rates of up to 15 °C/sec and 10 °C/sec. Additionally, it contains Low-Profile-Rapid (LPR) blocks for 20 µL, as well as Standard-Profile-Rapid (SPR) blocks for 0.2 ML standard consumables; there are also five different blocks available. This devices was created for superior low reagent consumption and reduced running costs. Small footprint satellite systems are expandable to full-cycler networks. The thermal blocks are composed of massive sterling silver with a gold layer. It also includes portable user-interface HID-Pro 320 and a reduced primer mismatching.
