The CorPath System revolutionizes the conventional modalities in coronary intervention with its robotic-assisted PCI system that allows for the precise control of coronary guidewires and baloon/stent devices during an angioplasty procedure. The Articulating Arm of the CorPath System is mounted to the procedure table and has a sterilized cassette that holds the PCI devices. The Arm translates the surgeon's commands from the Interventional Cockpit which has all the control panels to precisely measure the movement of the guidewires and balloon/stent catheters. From the cockpit, the surgeon is protected from radiation and has a close proximity view of the live, reference and hemodynamics monitors.
