The device is used to support the human DNA identification analysis by collecting the cheek buccal cells. For downstream processing, the sample integrity and DNA yield increases due to elimination of the transfer step. The device is designed to provide automated processing with BSD. Punching Systems is used while maintaining chain of custody control. The DNA reference sample is transported and stored with various products such as archival cassettes and trays, transport pouches and a specimen processing.
