The planning station NOVA PLAN allows preoperative planning of navigated interventions outside the OR. NOVA PLAN facilitates import of image data, fusion of different image data, planning of patient registration and surgery-related structures and the export of the planned operation to external media or the navigation system. Anatomical structures can be highlighted in patient image data with the help of planning points or three-dimensional target structures. Intraoperatively, these serve as waypoints and landmarks.
