The GaleMed Neb.Plus LF2 Nebulizer is compact in design, yet it can accommodate gas flows of from 1 to 3 liters per minute, and a supplemental gas flow rate of up to 12 liters per minute. The Neb.Plus LF2 provides a continuous aerosol, producing the needed concentration of respirable particles to ensure optimum tracheobronchial deposition and alveolar deposition. The tubing is color coded to avoid misconnection. The clear 2-meter tube is the Nebulizer drive line, while the blue 2-meter tube serves as the supplemental gas line, which is connected either to helium or to another air source. An ancillary tube runs parallel to the gas line to prevent it from kinking or becoming tangled. The V-shape of the medication reservoir acts to minimize residual waste.
