The Autopheresis-C system with iTrace is an automated plasma collection system. Designed by Fresenius Kabi, it is able to deliver high volumes of virtually cell-free plasma in the safest manner for donors due to its patented spinning membrane technology. It provides high operational efficiency and it enhances traceability and regulatory compliance. It offers accurate fluid delivery with adaptive vein controls and has a continuous monitoring system. The Autopheresis-C system includes Smart-Connect Plasmacell-C disposable kits to prevent cross-spiking of solutions. The kits can be sterilized by using irradiation in order to avoid risk of exposure to residual ethylene oxide. A wide range of collection volumes are available between 650 ml and 880 ml.
