The CellSonic Medical machine is a lithotripter with variable power for use in hospitals and clinics to treat bones, wounds and sports injuries. By producing an acoustic shock wave from a spark plug four times a second, it can be focused to the area in need of healing. CellSonic has miniaturized the lithotripter, making it reliable, easy to use for wound healing. The shockwaves are made by an electric pulse in the shock head at the end of a flexible cord. The head and connecting cable can be replaced as one unit, saving money. This head cannot be refurbished. An electronic chip recognition system ensures that the beam is focused on the right part. The CellSonic has been reduced in price, making it more affordable.
