CARMEX is a mobile radio fluoro system which can be configured to match customers' requirements and fits numerous applications, such as urology, cardiology, interventional radiology, orthopedics, basic surgery and emergency departments. CARMEX is compact and has a light mechanical structure, it is easy to move and guarantees a minimal footprint. The X-ray generator is microprocessor controlled. Its high frequency operation guarantees precise and stable high tension generation. It can be equipped with either stationery or rotating anode X-ray tubes and image intensifiers are available in 7", 9" and 12". CARMEX can work in different modes, such as pulsed fluoroscopy, digital radiography, continuous fluoroscopy and radiography. It also benefits from having recursive filtering which enhances imaging by reducing the dose/noise and giving edge enhancement.
