The Surgitech VOLARGRIP™ STRAIGHT GRASPER single use instrument with a 5 mm diameter insulated shaft, 33 cm in length, is designed for introduction and use through all appropriately sized trocar sleeves or larger sized trocar sleeves with the use of a converter. The jaws measure approximately 20 mm in length. The VOLARGRIP™ STRAIGHT GRASPER single use instrument has a ratchet mechanism that can be switched on or off, for user’s preference. The serrated dial located on the handle rotates the shaft 360° and holds the jaws in place for better access and visibility. The Surgitech VOLARGRIP™ STRAIGHT GRASPER single use instrument has application in a variety of gynaecologic and general endoscopic procedures for clinching and clamping of tissue and small tubular structures.
