Clip On was invented by Techne® in 1948, and there are now four units available. Thermoregulators are intended for use with Techne® unheated water baths or other similar laboratory vessels. They work by heating, circulating, and safely controlling the temperature of the liquid in the bad within the limits. Its temperature range is wider at –40°C to 200°C. It also has outstanding temperature stability at ±0.005°C at 40°C. It quickly heats up water with its 1.8kW heater power. Moreover, it has a 4-digit setting and a bright LED temperature display. The unit also has an RS232 connection and an over-temperature cut-out that can be adjusted by the user. The low liquid level cut-out is the standard.
