The device can sustain either a single 96-well plate block or maximum three aluminum insert blocks. The LED digital display is bright orange and facilitates precise and rapid temperature setting. The temperature of DB-3DL ranges from 100°C (ambient) to 200°C (DB-3D). The rapid rate of heating is enabled by the strengthened heater. In 25 minutes, it heats from 30°C to 200°C. The insert blocks can be interchanged and fits a diversity of tubes. Temperature remains steady at 40°C: ± 0.1°C.
