The Intramesh® T1 is a dual-sided prosthesis; one side is made of polypropylene monofilament knit and the other ePTFE wall reconstruction. One of its two sides is smooth which eliminates adhesion to the viscera and the other side is knitted for an improved peritoneum colonization. It comes in several versions for specific functions such as ventral hernia, umbilical hernia, and linea alba hernia. It features markers which make positioning easier via Laparoscopy.
