The I.B.S.® compression and neutralisation screws are cannulated, self-drilling and self-tapping. They are packaged in a sterile tube. The range of screws is available in diameters 2.5 - 3.0 - 3.5 and 4.5 in compression version and fully threaded. It is manufactured in titanium TA6V. The design of the I.B.S.® compression screw is optimised to distribute the compression effort, to maximise and facilitate bone synthesis. I.B.S.® screws are indicated for use in: - The fixation of arthrodeses, osteotomies or fractures of the short or long bones of the upper and lower limbs. - Osteosyntheses requiring mono or bicortical compression. Screws of diameter 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 mm are available with NeoSys® single use instrumentation.
