The BRITe product also known as BERCHTOLD Reflective Illumination Technology is a technology which uses halogen and reflects warm IR radiation right back to the filament. This heat is recycled through heating the filament more. Because of this, additional light beams are emitted, and lets only the cooler and more visible ones to exit the lighting system. These lights called CHROMOPHARE offer 50% more intensity, but still uses the same light head temperature and energy consumption. This advanced light technology has been used widespread in the OR in large surgical fields. Under the OR conditions, the BRITe technology uses its full potential which results to a light intensity of up to 160,000 lux. Its light field diameters measure up to 28 cm, too.
