The pH scale displays the entire range clinically relevant in monitoring antacid prophylaxis. Using Gastroccult will give you confident and accurate results in detecting blood from vomitus and other gastric specimens. Using fecal occult blood tests will not provide accurate results when gastric specimens are used. Another feature of Gastroccult is that it is reliable in verifying even low blood levels in specimens that contain bile.
