The need for high performance separation has paved the way for an intelligent system called CESI 8000. The term CESI was developed on the basis of a new front-end separation-and ionization technology called CESI. The special characteristics of capillary electrophoresis (CE) and electrospray ionization (ESI) are combined within the device through a single dynamic process. The system has a widened range of detection parameters and therefore, increased sensitivity levels is made possible. The presence of a low flow pre-MS separation technology and a new kind of ESI coupling technology also aids in this process. This technology became an instant hit among researchers as it covers a variety of applications.
