Barco has designed a wireless medical keyboard for use with Smart Terminals. Its all-in-one design and smooth contoured buttons enable easy cleaning. The keyboard base is made from anti-bacterial plastics and features a 'disinfect' button in order to deactivate the keys when cleaning. A numeric keypad is incorporated for improved data entry and there is a large track pad. The keyboard is supplied with innovative mounting brackets. The wireless USB connection has a 15 m range and utilizes RF signals which are not susceptible to interference. The wireless medical keyboard has a battery life of six hours and has a smart docking station for recharging.
