Planmeca ProSensor is a durable intraoral device with a patient-centric design that allows the production of high quality X-ray images. Available in three sensor sizes, the intelligent sensor is designed to maximise patient comfort while enhancing image performance. Each sensor has rounded edges and an extensive active imaging area. Correct insertion of the sensor is realized by a magnetic connector between the sensor and the control box. This allows for easy connection in an easy one-handed operation. If either the patient or X-ray source moves drastically, the connection will be instantly interrupted. The color-coded control box lights and LED light guide the user to gaining a successful image by indicating the state of the sensor system.
