One of the latest devices for Cryosurgery is the Cryo-S Classic. The device is intended to be used in either minor or major surgeries that need tissues to be rapidly frozen. Cryo-S Classic is mainly used for freezing tissues in a localized area. It has both contact cryoapplicators and spraying cryoapplicator. The temperature of the spraying cryoapplicator can be adjusted which allows freezing of lesions with measurements of several cubic millimeters up to several cubic centimeters. Liquid nitrous oxide is directly sprayed onto the lesion through the device.
