The LOOP shape of wire makes it possible for precision placement while preventing forward/backward migration during patients transport, the loop also allows the operator to use only one hand. It has a marking bead on its wire, that serves as a 1st landmark for the surgeon during the surgical excision of the suspected lesion (wire is can be re-positioned).
