It is improved with regards to safety and ease of use due to the syringe's self-blocking feature. It also has easy to read centimeter marks and a sliding stopper that facilitates accurate depth placement. The product's stylet is provided with an inner echo-marker for the needle's clearly visibility on the monitor during the US guided procedure, diminishing the risk of seeding of malignant cells, often caused by external echo-markers.
