Synimix V is a vacuum Mixing and Application Device for orthopedic cement. Compared to traditional methods Synimix V offers two major advantages: elimination of fumes produced during mixing, as the mixing container is airtight; and minimization of air bubble entrapment as the procedure is carried out under reduced pressure (vacuum). Consequently environmental contamination is reduced and mechanical properties of cement are enhanced. It includes a previously marked Application Cannula that can be easily cut to the desired length. The central disposition of the Application Cannula allows the application of cement in restricted or hard to reach areas. Presentation Synimix V Mixing and Application Device is available in a case containing the instructions for use and a double blister with Synimix V elements, thus assuring a double protecting sterile barrier. Sterilization is performed by ethylene oxide.
