The practical Ester Biopsvbell for soft tissue can be used with one hand, leaving the other hand free to operate the ultrasound scanner. The cannula and stylet are loaded using a single button, while the operator can select either a button on the side or one on the rear as the shooting button. The Ester Biopsybell has two modes of operation. While operating in the semi-automatic mode the stylet is advanced first, followed by the cannula. When the automatic more is selected, the stylet and cannula are advanced at slightly staggered times. The Ester can also be equipped with a coaxial needle if there is a need to take multiple samples during the biopsy.
