The Radiological Society of North America will hold its 107th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting from Sunday, 28 November to Thursday, 2 December at the McCormick Place in Chicago.
Last year, RSNA 2020 was changed to a virtual meeting due to COVID-19 health concerns. This year the conference will encompass onsite and virtual attendance. Live attendees will have to present validated proof of full COVID-19 vaccination.
RSNA President Mary C. Mahoney, MD, in her online welcome back to attendees and exhibitors, said: ‘RSNA 2021 will provide a long-awaited opportunity to reconnect with colleagues from near and far, experience a wealth of educational opportunities, and explore the latest medical imaging research discoveries and technological advances.’
RSNA 2021’s theme is ‘Redefining Radiology’ and will showcase new ideas and technologies to ‘redefine what it means to work as a radiologist’. At the opening session, held in Arie Crown Theater on Sunday, 28 November 28, at 4 p.m. CST, Dr Mary C. Mahoney will discuss the road ahead after COVID-19. Dr James Merlino will discuss patient-centric care. The conference will continue until Thursday, 2 December, and feature many educational opportunities to learn the latest trends, innovations, and topics affecting radiology.
