This comprehensive one-day programme in the BIR MSK Imaging Series focuses on two commonly imaged joints of the lower limb, the knee and the ankle. The event aims to cover both basic concepts important in the diagnosis of common pathologies and also tackles more challenging clinical and imaging scenarios.

This study day would be a useful refresher course for practicing radiologists with an MSK interest who may encounter these examinations as part of their practice. The event would also be valuable to general radiologists and senior radiology trainees developing an interest in musculoskeletal radiology.

Educational Aims:
  • Understand basic key concepts, imaging anatomy and their application in the recognition and diagnosis of a range of common knee and ankle presentations and pathology
  • Gain an awareness of more complex clinical scenarios of the knee and ankle and their imaging characteristics, together with some strategies to help tackle these in routine clinical practice

REGISTRATION FEES:

Non-member £250

BIR Consultant member £145

BIR Non-consultant member £110

BIR Trainee member £65

BIR Retired/Student member £55
