COURSE OBJECTIVES

Resuscitation 2016 is an advanced course designed to provide experienced practitioners with an evidence-based update on the latest advances in the diagnosis, treatment and clinical skills necessary for the care of the critically ill or injured patient. The latest in educational techniques and simulation will be used to emphasize core knowledge. Clinical topics will be presented by nationally recognized experts based on current research. Individual lecture objectives will be provided in the course manual. By attending this CME activity, participants will be able to:

1. Discuss up-to-date reviews of topics relevant to the care of critical patients, incorporating new skills into their practice.

2. Learn procedural techniques important to the management of medical and trauma patients.

3. Improve and update their clinical practice for serious emergencies.
