MAITT National Congress, Training Day, Anestexpo 2022

The pandemic has overwritten and rewritten our lives in many areas and in many ways, putting our vocation to one of the greatest challenges we have ever faced. And thanks to the superhuman and exemplary work of our anesthesiologists and intensive care colleagues, our profession has been maximally appropriate and has undergone a leap forward in recent times. Of course, the significant accumulation of new knowledge is not just a consequence of a pandemic. The new therapeutic possibilities discovered during the expansion of diagnostic and pathophysiological knowledge result in the dynamic change of disciplines and subspecialties. At the same time, anesthesiology and intensive care are welcoming patients from all disciplines and subspecialties. Integrating this amount of expanding knowledge into continuous training, requires networking and networking. One of the most effective opportunities for networking and exchange of experiences is the creation of conferences based on personal participation, which could not be held to a minimal extent in the recent period due to the pandemic. Hopefully, the May conference will provide an opportunity to do so. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that the number of people working in our field is limited, the workload is serious and it is easy for health care needs to prevent or reduce personal attendance, as exemplified by our previous conference. To ensure the flow of information to those who are unable to attend or only one day of the conference, for the first time in the life of MAITT, the performances of the congress will be screened and recorded in live and retrospective form. Worthy of the MAITT congresses so far, this year, with the participation of international and domestic excellence, extensive and high-quality performances will raise the standard of our “golden” congress.
