Regional Conferences
The purpose of Regional / Summer Conferences is to provide participants with an educational experience on issues related to disease management. The meeting is a mixture of state-of-the-art lectures and informal interactive workshops, which aim to provide an environment that is both enjoyable and conducive to learning.Registration and Fees

Social events include:
- Welcome Reception in the Crypt of Christ Church Cathedral on Thursday 11 June at 18:00
- Gala Dinner in the Concert Hall of Royal Dublin Society on Friday 12 June at 19:30

- Attendance at one of the two workshops held in parallel on Friday 12 June at 16:30-18:00 upon registration (non mandatory / “first come-first served”)

ESICM Programme
Through this conference, ESICM along with ICSI aims to:
• Determine the main clinical consequences of heart-lung interactions in both spontaneously breathing and mechanically ventilated critically ill patients.
• Understand how heart-lung interactions can be used to assess haemodynamic status in patients with critical illnesses.
• Examine how alterations in cardiovascular function can impact on the severity of acute respiratory failure.
• Discuss how alterations in respiratory function can impact on the cardiovascular system.
• Evaluate the current diagnostic approach of ARDS.
• Discuss the current treatment of ARDS and its haemodynamic consequences.
• Evaluate the current diagnostic approach of ARDS.
