DevelopingEM 2020

DevelopingEM is heading to Cartagena Colombia for their seventh emergency medicine and critical care conference.

With a population of 49 million people, Colombia is one of the most beautiful and diverse countries in South America. It has one of the best medical education and healthcare systems in the region. Emergency Medicine was established as a specialty in Colombia in 2005 with an expanding specialist workforce and an increasing number of residency programs.

DevelopingEM is honoured to be partnering with the IFEM recognised Asociación Colombiana De Especialistas En Medicina De Urgencias Y Emergencias (Colombian Association of Specialists in Emergency Medicine: ACEM) who will be holding their Annual Scientific Meeting in sequence with DevelopingEM on March 12-14, 2020.

We hope both events will be a focus for Colombian, Caribbean, South American and international discussion and collaboration between emergency clinicians from around the world.

The amazing Caribbean port city, Cartagena de Indias is not only one of the most beautiful cities in Latin America, but also the home of multiple UNESCO listed world heritage sites. We are delighted to be hosting the next DevelopingEM Conference at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center, a city landmark at the heart of Cartagena's historical downtown area.
