The 2nd Annual “BEST OF BRUSSELS” Symposium on Intensive Care & Emergency Medicine is to be held in PUNE, India from 11th July 2014 at the Hyatt Regency, Pune.
ISCCM Pune Branch and The Department of Intensive Care Medicine, Erasme University Hospital, Brussels decided to come together to conduct this symposium, consisting of a select set of presentations made at the preceding ISICEM, Brussels, in Pune, India. Eminent faculty who will have participated in ISICEM at Brussels in March 2014 will be invited So, the symposium will only contain exclusively selected presentations made at Brussels.
Various workshops will be held from the 7th to 10th July 2014, the 12th Annual Intensive Care Review Course is designed especially for exam going students will have exam oriented topics, workstations & MCQ with Interactive Sessions similar to the exam pattern. The very popular landmark 18th Annual Mechanical Ventilation Workshops will now have Fundamentals of Mechanical Ventilation & Emerging Strategies of Mechanical Ventilation in addition to the Ultrasound & 2DEchocardiography in ICU & Hemodynamic Monitoring Workshop.
The delegates can choose to attend either of the workshops /courses of their choice held on the dates mentioned. Registration for the symposium is not mandatory to attend any of the workshops/courses.
This year we have planned an exclusive new concept called The Translational Session. This will be conducted on Sunday 13th Jul. International and National faculty members will hold discussions on the topics of major presentations made during the preceding2 days of Best of Brussels. These will be case based and interactive with the audience. We aim to convert the point made in BOB into real Take Home related to cases that we see in our ICU’s
The combination of Pune’s traditional excellence and organization of high level meetings in Critical Care in India is now achieving new height with “Best of Brussels” symposium.
