2014 Regional Conference - Cardiac Arrest from CPR to Recovery
Cardiac arrest is among the leading causes of death worldwide and is a frequent cause of admission in ICU. Through this conference, ESICM, along with ERC and Croatian Intensive Care Societies, aim to:
- Bring together all professionals implicated in the care of cardiac arrest patients.
- Share experiences of health care professionals' concerned by the chain of survival.
- Examine recent data and therapeutic advances that could change our practices.
- Describe the most frequent complications observed in post-cardiac arrest patients.
- Discuss the results of recent clinical research in temperature control.
- Discuss ethical problems raised by recent changes in treatment of cardiac arrest patients.
