The UAE healthcare market is expected to grow by 7% from 2015 to 2020, propelled by medical tourism and a higher than ever demand for new facilities & technologies. Together with strong government funding and support, the UAE will no doubt be the front-runner in developing the best care and wellness for exceptional patient experience.

Patient experience elevation has become one of the top five priorities for healthcare organizations for the coming years. Like other industries, healthcare is facing new challenges generated by financial profitability, rising competition, increasing demand for high-quality care experience, and disruptive technologies offering omni-channel interactions. The ability to adopt innovative approaches to keep patients connected to the ever-changing healthcare ecosystem is highly crucial for business sustainability.

After the success of last year's 2nd Annual GCC Patient Experience Summit (18 – 19 September 2018), proudly hosted by Fleming. the forum will again create a unique platform for knowledge sharing, networking with top-notch healthcare professionals, and getting a glimpse into practical C-level insights as well as hands-on case studies. This region’s only forum dedicated to patient experience will feature CEOs, Patient Relations Directors, and Service Excellence Officers and Heads of IT from organizations such as Avivo Group, Aster DM Healthcare, Al Salama Group, Al Zahra Pvt. Hospital, King Fahad Specialist Hospital Dammam and many others.

Participants will hear from healthcare providers on their excellence journeys. Dr. Dilshaad Ali, Dr. Mohamed A. Hamdy, Dr. Raja Sekhar Gujju and Dr. Arpan David, will introduce their insights on hospital brand image  and its potential to stimulate patient loyalty. Usage of technology to empower patients for self-care decisions is going to be presented by Mohamed Gamal of Al Zahra Pvt Hospitals.

Mukta Arora will speak about how the consumer can be leveraged for improved patient engagement and experience and Lamees AlHaj is going to share his thoughts about creating a patient centered team to achieve better engagement.

Themed “Aligning operational technology with organizational goals to deliver enhanced patient experience,” the summit aims to offer access to a unique learning opportunity that sets the tone for establishing excellence benchmarks, effective communication and leadership strategies in customized care delivery.
