The Luxembourg Hospital Federation (FHL), its partners and the European Association of Hospital Managers (EAHM) will take advantage of Healthcare Week Luxembourg 2023, from 20 to 22 September, to present awards to the most promising start-ups and projects in the field of innovation. Applications are now being accepted in three categories.
Organised by FHL, the Healthcare Week Luxembourg Awards 2023 are part of the Healthcare Week Luxembourg programme, an event that aims to develop cooperation between players in the Greater Region's healthcare sector in a European context. It’ first edition will be held at Luxexpo The Box from 20 to 22 September 2023.
Based on topics covered at the conferences and round tables scheduled for Healthcare Week Luxembourg, the awards aim to reward the best hospital projects in the fields of innovation. Three prizes in three different categories will be awarded at a gala evening on 21 September.
Three awards categories
The FHL, the Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy and Luxinnovation will be giving the start-up of the year prize to a particularly ambitious and promising project that contributes to the improvement of the health sector.
The FHL and the Society of Medical Sciences of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg will select a medical project carried out in direct or indirect collaboration with a hospital that provides a relevant solution for the healthcare sector.
The European Association of Hospital Managers (EAHM-AEDH-EVKM) will award a prize to the best innovative project in the field of hospital management in Europe and neighbouring countries.
Registration for entries closes on 15th July
In each category, three finalists will be selected by a jury composed of healthcare professionals. The finalists will then be invited to make a live pitch in front of the audience on 20 and 21 September. Only one candidate per category will be awarded a prize at the end of the presentations.
Anyone wishing to enter the HWL AWARDS 2023 has until 15 July 2023 to send a completed submission to: [email protected] by filling out the application form for the category of their choice. The results of the pre-selection process will be announced by the end of August 2023 at the latest.
