EMIS Health Group has recently announced Suzy Foster as Chief Executive Officer and Bob Brown as Chief Solutions Officer; these two senior appointments follow the company’s recent announcement of its next generation platform EMIS-X.

Suzy Foster’s new role will make her responsible for EMIS Health’s end-to-end integrated care offerings to the NHS. Suzy previously held the Head of Delivery role at Microsoft UK and has held senior roles in Microsoft’s healthcare business for 5 years.

In the newly-created role as CSO, Bob Brown will be responsible for building end-to-end health economy solutions for customers. Bob is currently CIO (Chief Information Officer) at Manchester City Council and has held senior positions at Aviva, Nationwide Building Society and HCL.

In response to her new appointment as CEO, Suzy responded: “I am delighted to be joining EMIS Health at such an exciting time. I am passionate about the impact that appropriate and secure data sharing can have on healthcare and am looking forward to unlocking the potential of EMIS-X to do this and improve health outcomes.”

CEO, Andy Thorburn, had this to say: “I am pleased to announce these new appointments. Both Bob and Suzy will come on board in the coming weeks. They will boost our capabilities to execute our new strategy and drive EMIS Group forward.”
