Description

Transforming Women’s Health 2019 will enable health care providers to improve care of female patients by presenting emerging scientific and clinical evidence related to medical conditions that are unique to women, occur more frequently in women or present differently in women. The course includes presentations from key women's health specialty and subspecialty disciplines including obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive medicine, sexual health, menopausal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, internal medicine and preventive medicine.


Intended Audience

This annual course is designed for Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and others who are committed to advancing the quality of care for their female patients.


Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Summarize the current guidelines and recommendations for management of dyslipidemia in women
  • Discuss the evaluation and treatment of common vulvular dermatoses
  • Describe the management approach in women with benign breast disease or BRCA mutation
