multidisciplinary healthcare management platform, is delighted to announce the
appointment of Prof. Tienush Rassaf as Editor-in-Chief, Cardiology.
Prof. Rassaf is Director of the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine at the Westgerman Heart- and Vascular Center, University Hospital Essen in Germany.
Prof. Rassaf said he was honoured to take up the new assignment and he looks forward to working with the members of the Editorial Board and the HealthManagement.org team. “Cross-collaboration is essential in cardiology”, he said. “My cardiology career has shown me how vital good leadership and management is in providing the best clinical care.”
Prof. Rassaf will work alongside HealthManagement.org’s existing Editors-in-Chief, Prof. Lluís Donoso Bach, Editor-in-Chief, Imaging and Christian Marolt, Editor-in-Chief, Healthcare IT.
Prof. Panos Vardas has stepped down as
Editor-in-Chief, Cardiology, due to his appointment as Managing Chair of the
European Heart Academy and his other extensive commitments.
HealthManagement.org paid tribute to Prof. Vardas as the founding
Editor-in-Chief, Cardiology. Prof. Vardas set up the landmark publication
Cardiology Management, which joined forces with Imaging Management and
Healthcare IT Management to form HealthManagement.org.
