This technologist-specific education consists of programming planned by technologists, for technologists. This 3-hour symposium will emphasized the importance of patient preparation, the use of cardiac medications, IV contrast and indication based protocol parameters in the previous two courses. In this course we will explain how these key elements of cardiac scanning impact the post processing outcome. There are several different applications that can be used to create a multitude of images.

This 3-hour symposium is the third in a series of educational materials for technologists scanning cardiovascular exams. We have emphasized the importance of patient preparation, the use of cardiac medications, IV contrast and indication based protocol parameters in the previous two courses. In this course we will explain how these key elements of cardiac scanning impact the post processing outcome. There are several different applications that can be used to create a multitude of images. How we create these images and what they are used for will be explored in this session.

Thank you to GE Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers for their support of this event.

Registration rates:

Full members: $25
Community and non-members: $50

If an institution sponsors more than 3 Technologists to attend, SCCT will extend the member price to their Techs regardless of member status. This means for $25, your institution can provide its Techs with 3 of the 24 CE credits they need annually to keep their certification. These credits can also be used toward becoming a CSCCT.

To take advantage of this, please reach out to SCCT staff at [email protected] with the full names and emails of your Techs.

3 Category A ASRT CE credits are available for Technologists.
Credit type and counts are subject to change.

This activity is supported by an educational grant from Siemens Healthineers.
