ICU Management

Li Wenliang was a Chinese ophthalmologist who worked at Wuhan Central Hospital. On December 30, 2019 he shared an emergency warning to local hospitals about a number of mysterious pneumonia cases discovered in Wuhan. He was dubbed a whistleblower and was summoned for making false comments. On February 7, 2020 he died at the age of 33.

Since then, at least 100,000 healthcare workers have been infected, and more than 1000 have died. HealthManagement.org salutes these brave Superheroes - those who have already sacrificed their lives and those who continue to forge ahead.
