Mindray secures renewed ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certifications for comprehensive information security management and privacy information management across all core business sectors at its Shenzhen headquarters in China. This covers areas such as R&D, sales, service, IT, and more.

ISO 27001 is one of the most well-known standards for information security management systems (ISMS). It provides a framework to help organisations manage information security risks, protect themselves from threats, and keep assets secure. As an extension to the ISO 27001 framework, ISO 27701 specifies requirements and provides guidance for improving a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS).

The certification reinforces Mindray's steadfast dedication to maintaining the utmost security and confidentiality of business information and private information pertaining to its customers, business partners, and staff members. With this recognition, customers can have enhanced confidence knowing that their information is consistently handled and stored to the highest standards within Mindray.

Following successful implementation and audits, the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/ICE 27701:2019 certificates cover all core areas of the Mindray business, including:

  • sales and marketing services for the Patient Monitoring and Life Support (PMLS), Medical Imaging Systems (MIS), In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) product lines;
  • research and development activities of the 3 Major Production Lines;

Mr. Lan Jin spoke highly of Mindray's leadership for its emphasis on information security and privacy protection, "This is the result of high attention and strong support from the management team, and the result of unremitting efforts and professional dedication from the information security and data protection team. It is believed that if Mindray continues to uphold the concept of risk thinking and continuous improvement, and relies on systematic management, it will be able to grasp better opportunities and usher in greater development."

Mindray will continue to strengthen its information security and privacy information management system, so that information remains secure, and the business complies with new best practice, legislation, and ISO guidelines to make recertification smoother.
