As we mark World Health Day today, we are reminded of our incredible responsibility as a healthcare organisation to provide the highest quality of care to our patients and communities.

This year's World Health Day theme - "Health for all" - highlights the importance of ensuring everyone has access to high-quality healthcare.

As a healthcare organisation and trusted medical provider in all our 15 markets, we are dedicated to promoting equity in healthcare provision and strive to make our services accessible to all communities we serve. We are committed to playing our part in achieving this goal by providing integrated, patient-centred care that breaks down barriers to access and delivers best-in-class medical services at the highest standards of quality and safety, using the latest medical technologies and innovations.

We understand that patients require care tailored to their unique needs, preferences and circumstances. That's why, our approach prioritises patient-centricity, ensuring that each patient receives personalised attention and care built around their health goals.

Integrated care is a central pillar of our approach to improving health outcomes - from advanced diagnostics, multi-speciality consultations, and laboratory analysis to minor treatment and Centres of Excellence in cancer care, in state-of-the-art out-of-hospital premises or co-located with public or private hospitals. With this approach, we can create a more seamless, coordinated patient experience focused on improving outcomes and reducing costs for patients or payors.

We understand that our work as healthcare providers is more than a job. It is a calling to serve our communities and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. We take great pride in the role we play in supporting the health and well-being of the communities we serve, and we are constantly striving to improve the quality of our care and the patient experience.

On this World Health Day, I want to thank each of our 12.000 professionals and especially our more than 7500 clinical colleagues for their unwavering commitment to Affidea's mission and their ongoing dedication to improving the health of our communities.

Through our collective efforts, we can continue to drive innovation and deliver the highest quality of care, accessible to all.
