CONTOUR FOAM WHEELCHAIR CUSHION The Contour Foam wheelchair cushion is specifically designed for wheelchair users with reduced or uncontrolled muscular tension. Due to their immobility, wheelchair users are often more at risk of developing pressure sores. In addition, ‘slumping’, may be evident, requiring additional nursing intervention. The special contoured seat, lifts the upper body and supports both legs whilst improving the seating posture of the user. The selected foam grades and foam profiles minimise pressure peaks. The polyurethane cover is incontinence resistant and can be wipe cleaned and surface disinfected.
