The Biochrom WPA S1200 Spectrawave visible diode array spectrophotometer has been designed to meet the routine spectroscopy needs of customers requiring a small, light weight instrument that is easy to use. The Biochrom WPA S1200T Spectrawave has a factory fitted electrically heated cell holder for thermostatted measurements at 37 °C. Although compact, it offers powerful on board data capture and analysis software without the requirement to connect to a PC. Absorbance, % Transmission, Absorbance Ratio and Concentration. The large backlit graphical display enables wavelength scans, kinetic assays (including slope calculation) and standard curves to be viewed. The S1200 Spectrawave accepts standard 10mm pathlength glass or plastic cuvettes; a test tube adapter set is available, and this enables COD measurements to be made using standard 16mm diameter test tubes. Low maintainance The S1200 Spectrawave instrument is designed to make life easier for technical staff, and to be low maintainance under demanding conditions. With no lid or moving parts, this robust instrument is easy to use, clean and store. This monochromator spectrophotometer has no filters to be changed or lost. The cell holder can be completely removed for easy cleaning. Lamp life is extended as it is only on during the measurement cycle. Spare lamps are available and easy to install. Choice of print outputs Delivered with the S1200 Spectrawave is Grafico, a PC utility software package (32-bit PC compatible) and serial lead, providing the user with the option to capture, print and store data from the instrument onto a PC so that a results log may be built up or data exported to Excel.
