This extremely compact anesthetic unit is equipped with dedicated outputs, each with a flow-rate that is calibrated for the induction systems and anesthesia masks. Consumption of anesthetic products is thereby considerably reduced compared to conventional anesthesia systems since the user no longer intervenes to set the flow-rate of gas distributed to accessories (cf.: low-consumption cages and masks). A built-in extraction system makes it possible to optimize the extraction rate from the masks to match the flow-rate of anesthetic gas. The polluted gas stream can be directed to an activated charcoal filter cartridge or the laboratory?s central extraction system. This system uses oxygen or compressed air as the carrier gas, so it is also compatible with the use of an oxygen concentrator. The station is equipped with a Selectatec manifold (instantaneously mounting system for the vaporizer) that facilitates replacement of the vaporizer; this can be done simply by the operator, with no tools, at each change of anesthetic product or if necessary by our technicians during maintenance operations.
