The CONSERVE® Plus Total Resurfacing Hip System is intended for patients who, due to their relatively younger age or increased activity level, may not be suitable for traditional total hip replacement due to an increased possibility of requiring future hip joint revision. The CONSERVE® Plus Total Resurfacing Hip System is designed to be a conservative prosthetic solution. It is anatomical, replicating the normal hip and limb length, while preserving proximal femoral bone. The intended initial patient population is young or active patients who may require total hip replacement (THR) later in life.
